LIKE, a network committed to the development of cultural policies in Europe, is organising La Rencontre de Lisboa: What Kind of Cooperation for Culture, to be held in Lisbon, Portugal, on 24 – 26 May 2017. Cooperation is at the heart of the work of LIKE as a network.
The Lisbon event will be dedicated to getting an in-depth view of innovative models for cooperation, their potential impact on the face of the EU, and triggering non-linear European partnerships. The organizers invite local and regional authorities, cultural actors and operators from the arts as well as EU bodies and representatives to work together.
The following topics will be discussed: The future of cooperation in a multi-speed EU; Is territorial diversity an obstacle or an opportunity for EU cooperation? Are EU spaces of cooperation the new nuclei for a revitalized Europe? Cultural operators and actors of arts in EU programmes: strategies for survival; What is the urgency for cultural cooperation in Europe?
